Dale Cook
I was raised in a Christian home. My father was a Southern Baptist minister with the Home Mission Board. I grew up outside of Chicago. I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years (23 months in Vietnam). I worked as a senior project engineer on the construction of nuclear power plants. I also spent a number of years working with FEMA as an independent disaster housing inspector. I joined the Presbyterian Church in 1981. I have served as a senior high youth director, Deacon, Elder, Session President. I was commissioned as pastor in 1986 in Illinois. In 2018, after the death of my wife, I moved to Las Cruces and became active in the Presbyterian Church there. In 2021 I was asked to speak at the Deming church. In January of 2022 I was recertified as a commissioned pastor and assigned to First Presbyterian Church in Deming on a fulltime basis.
